Outstanding Success at the 2026 Illinois State Music Competition

Students of the Paderewski Symphony Orchestra Academy of Music achieved outstanding results at the 2026 Illinois State Music Competition held at Wheaton College on May 30–31.

This prestigious statewide competition brings together talented young musicians from across Illinois and provides them with an opportunity to perform before a panel of professional judges. The level of competition was exceptionally high, making this year's achievements even more remarkable.

Representing the Academy were students from the piano studios of Regina Purim, Anetta Kukulka, Pola Ciężobka, and Bartłomiej Ciężobka, as well as the violin and cello studios of Lilianna Wośko and Wojciech Niewrzoł.

These impressive accomplishments are a testament to the talent, dedication, and perseverance of our students, as well as the commitment of our outstanding faculty members who guide and inspire them every day.
