Anne Zenzer

Anne Zenzer, now retired, was a senior vice president at Witt/Kieffer with more than 30 years of executive search experience across healthcare, banking, and insurance. She joined the firm in 1985 and became a trusted advisor in leadership recruitment for academic medical centers and health systems. Her work focused on searches for CEOs, deans, department chairs, and other senior executives, bringing a deep understanding of governance, affiliations, and organizational structure within complex healthcare institutions.

Anne partnered closely with boards, presidents, and senior leaders to shape leadership strategies and develop high-performing executive teams. Her expertise was especially valued in searches for university hospitals, children’s hospitals, medical schools, and faculty practice plans.

Earlier in her career, she served as vice president at Baiocchi, Ryan Associates Ltd. in Chicago and began her search work within a major management consulting firm. She is also a frequent speaker on executive leadership, recruiting, and career development.
