I was born in a picturesque small city Walcz in Poland. Upon graduating from high school I moved to Poznan where I attended UAM -University of Adam Mickiewicz. I graduated with the Master Degree in Classical Philology and immediately started to teach Latin in one of the prominent high schools in Poznan.
I moved to the US in 1981. After a few short years of adjusting to a new reality of living in the new country, getting married and raising a son I started working for a Real Estate Company Re/Max. After 15 very successful and extremely demanding years in sales I moved to my husbands company MBM Services and I worked there until I retired.
Currently a spent my time writing poetry and painting. My autobiografy „BASIA” was published in 2012 and is available on Amazon.
My involvement in the Paderewski Symphony Orchestra and the Academy of Music is one of the most creative and rewarding endeavors of my life. This non-for-profit, artistic and educational institution is a beacon of light, hope and inspiration for many young children and their parents. I am extremely happy I can be part of it!
