Sylwia Wojtowicz

Sylwia was born in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, where she earned a degree in pedagogy. She has lived in the United States for many years and, together with her husband Piotr, co-owns and operates their family business, Darpet.
Sylwia is actively engaged in supporting Polish cultural and educational initiatives within the Polish-American community. She currently serves on the Board of the Paderewski Symphony Orchestra (PaSO), where she contributes to advancing the organization’s mission of promoting Polish musical heritage and expanding access to classical music through both performances and educational programs.
For over 15 years, Sylwia has served as President of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Polish School, playing a key role in fostering Polish language, culture, and identity among younger generations. Her long-standing commitment to education reflects her belief in the importance of preserving cultural heritage while building strong community foundations.
As a mother of four children, Sylwia remains deeply dedicated to family, education, and the continued growth of the Polish-American community.
